Why Buy a Small Pontoon?
- More Affordable – the boats themselves are less expensive plus you need a smaller motor to move the boat in the water. This also means you'll use less gas. All of your winterizing and storage services will be cheaper with a small boat
- Convenience – the smaller the boat, the easier it is to prep of heading out and cover back up when done
- Intimate – Our boats offer a closer more comfortable setting so everyone can be involved in conversation and activities. The driver doesn't feel separated from the rest of passengers
- Enough is Enough - Most of out pontoons are rated between 7 and 10 passengers. Considering most people cruise with 6 or less people – these boats are perfect! There is ample storage room and walkways
- Easier to Maintain – Qwest and Gillgetter pontoons are easier to get ready to head out (whether by the dock or on a trailer), easier to trailer to the lake and launch, easier to maneuver in the water. One comment we here from our female customers is "I feel much more comfortable driving this boat than other pontoons"
- Electric Only/HP Restrictions – compact pontoons are ideally suited for lakes with HP restrictions or only allow electric motors due to their smaller size and lighter weight
- Fits In Your Garage – Our pontoons can be stored in your garage or other shed that larger boats won't fit into. For most of our boats you will need the length of the boat plus an additional 3 ½ feet (ie. A 16' will bit into a 19 ½' garage)
- Easy To Trailer – Qwest and Gillgetter pontoons are the perfect size to tow. The smaller size boat makes it easy to tow with mini vans, small SUV's or RV's
